APPLECORE is what remains after the transfer. Objects carved by human hands that become ruins  after cyber-transfer, losing their utilitarian character. Transfer from one medium to another is a lossy process. I am interested in the moment of transition, the dialogue between these two states. I work in two ways: with objects in the non-digital world and with an empty digital space that I fill and adapt to my needs. APPLECORE is technology as a carrier bag for everything that took part in its creation without throwing away whatever is deemed non-functional by the effectivity focused mainstream. This does away with the ‘’linear,progressive, Time’s-(killing)-arrow mode of the Techo-Heroic’’. It allows us to approach technology in a deeply humanistic way, allowing for care, concern and shared experience.
